Next Solar Flare 2024. The national weather service (nws) space weather prediction center (swpc) has deployed an update to the observed geostationary orbiting environment. Over the past day, sun activity was considered moderate, due to 2 m flares.

Nasa’s solar dynamics observatory, which watches the sun constantly, captured an image of the event. The image shows a blend of 171 angstrom and 131 angstrom light, subsets of extreme ultraviolet light.
